About Rusty Nail Racing

Rusty Nail Racing is a small private racing team, if you want to call it that ;)

Rusty Nail derives from a german saying, that if some one has a rusty nail in his head, he’s slightly crazy or rather obsessed with something, but in a positive sense.

Our Rusty Nail is focused on a lot of things and has mostly to do with MINIs, petrol and motorsports. We race Darcy’s MINI on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife in a motorsports series that is called GLP which stands for Gleichmässigkeitsprüfung (= conformity trials), where we try to drive the 20,832km with constant lap times.
