The Mission

We like MINIs, we like racing, we like the Nürburgring. So we combined that in our mission ;)

There’s a motorsports series on the ‘ring called GLP. The goal is to drive 12 laps of each 20,832km within a limit of 10 to 15 minutes with a constant lap time. You will be punished with penalty points per 100th of a second difference to your set time from laps 2 and 8 and may not cross the line in under 10 or over 15 minutes. So an event will look like this:

1. warm up lap
2. set time lap
3. valaution lap
4. valuation lap
5. valuation lap
6. pit (fuel) in lap
7. pit (fuel) out lap
8. set time lap
9. valuation lap
10. valuation lap
11. valuation lap
12. cool down lap

Special rules apply for the pit laps, where you may use up to 40 minutes to cover both laps and your time in the pit lane and the warm up lap, where you may lap up to 20 minutes. All limit breaches will result in a disqualification. If you go faster than the 10 minute limit, you will be disqualified by black flag and confined to the pits immediately.
